So buzy! Very exciting news. June 17th I'll be playing along side Zedd and Savoy at Webster Hall! Here's the facebook jumpoff
Coincidentally, I'll be releasing my new track Necronomikz on that same date. Here is a preview of the track:
If you can't wait that long - just tweet about the Webster hall show and mention me and BOOM I'll send you over the track.
See you soon!
Hello classy ladies and gents. Are you lovebirds ready for Valentine's Day? This year the good people at Auchentoshan Scotch asked me to make a little ditty for their Valentine's Day promo. Personally, I think love is a waste of time - I'm more into sitting on the couch with a tall glass of chocolate "moo juice" and the May '03 issue of Popular Science. I kid, I kid. Love is grand...and expensive. That's why Auchentoshan and I are giving this song away for FREE! HOORAY FREE! This is serious sexy time music kids, I must insist that if you are under the age of 145 please get a parents consent. Happy V-Day!
I'd like to thank my good friend Joey Trombone from Ozone Park for helping me come up with a title for the track.
Greetings. Today was a big bass day in the studio. Tracking tracking tracking and more tracking. I started off with the bass line to my new upcoming track "Graveyards". Until now it was all synth everything - well when it came to bass at least. So being a bass player by trade I decided to switch it up. I have to say I was very excited about the results. So excited that I thought I would give you guys a little preview. There is no drum track along with the bass because I really wanted you all to hear the sweet sweet sound of my Chandler TG-1 Limiter. I don't know what I'm psyched on more the sound of the compressor or the sound of the bass.
In case you were wondering I'm using a Fender Jazz going direct through a Groove Tubes Vipre and an API-550. Kaboom!
On to the next one. My second bass session was for a song I co-wrote and produced for an artist named ANE. There is an instrumental outro so I took advantage of the chance to get a little creative. Since I'm on the fence as to whether or not I will be leaving this in I figured it would be nice to let this see the light of day. I left in the accompaniment here so you can get the vibe of what's going on. I also channeled my inner Paul McCartney here. Enjoy.
Happy New Year! Hope the holidays were great for everyone and that you're following through on your resolutions! One of my resolutions was to quit smoking and I'm happy to say that it's been 19 days and I haven't had one! Woo! I also wanted to lose some weight and the Video Game god's saw fit to give me the flu for like 9 days - and whattaya know: I lost 3lbs.
Anyway big news from Japan! DJ Shuzo, one of Tokyo's top mix-tape DJ's and my very very good friend is putting out a new mixtape called "Village Vanguard" and is including some of my tracks like "Baxter" What's really awesome (well, depending how you define awesome) is that he named the mixtape after one of Japan's popular convenience stores : Village Vanguard. I guess I just really like Japanese convenience stores.
In other area's of awesomeness I came across a website called Vyou.com It's like YouTube and Twitter rolled up into a springroll with some fish oil and wasabi. Here's what it is in a nutshell: You create a profile and people ask you questions then you record a video of you answering the question and you can follow people and have people follow you. Here is my Vyou feed:
Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Here's a little present for ye. My man Badda Flexx did me the honor of laying down a verse for this Hold Yuh Remix I just finished. Take a listen for yourself and you'll agree that he SMASHED it. It's available for free download on my Soundcloud. Have a listen:

I've redecorated. Sorry it took so long but I got my shit together and finally uploaded some pictures from my last tour in Japan. And [drumroll].....[/drumroll] a new track! It's called Baxter. I named the track after the dog from Anchorman. Have a listen:
Hope you like it. I have two more on the way. In other news I have a new residency in NYC @ Apotheke. It's a very cool place in Chinatown and I encourage, no DEMAND, that you come down each and every saturday and party with me. The place is around the corner from Chinatown Fair and my favorite Chinese food spot 69 Bayard. So this is like - the ideal place for one to have a job. Before work I go and school some people at street fighter after work I go in on that China Wok. Foo Young all night long.
